Form factor 

First you have to determine the form factor of your computer to play, so if you need a fixed, portable or compact system. Usually the bulky computers at the same price are also more powerful because they have more room to accommodate the components and to keep them fresh even during the “heavy” gaming sessions. As with traditional computers, there are mainly three types of computers. 

Notebooks to play 

Among the gamers is spreading the fashion of using laptops to play, even to the latest generation titles. They typically use hardware that is more efficient than desktop systems, or lower overall power consumption, so as to heat as little as possible and be integrated into small-volume drives. I recommend a notebook only if you are a person who travels often and can not help but play under any circumstances! They cost more than traditional systems, but offer all the advantages of the category: integrated display, easy portability, ease of insertion into the environment, slightly lower consumption. But beware! Usually portable computers designed to play are heavier and bulky than traditional models, because they incorporate a more efficient heat dissipation system, often with multiple fans, and hence of greater dimensions. They always feature a dedicated GPU, nVidia or AMD. 

PC all in one to play 

PCs in one to play are not as widespread as laptops, however, are intermediate and fixed solutions for space saving space. All components (except, often, the power supply) are integrated into a single body, including the monitor! This solution is especially suitable for those who have little room and do not want a house scattered or half-desk, but is a compromise solution compared to a traditional desktop PC. Integrated all-in-one hardware is in many cases the same as on notebook computers, so it’s more efficient, consumes less, but sometimes even less performance than desktop computers. In the last few generations the differences have diminished but, just like the notebooks, all in one to play compels some compromises. They face faster obsolescence, internal components can not be replaced over time with the most modern ones, maximum performance is lower than desktop PCs. 

Fixed PC to play

PCs for fixed games represent the historically best performance solution. They are often large and bulky, and in recent years have followed the trend – such as notebook and all in one gaming – of the RGB LED lighting. They are often very sight-seeing, but they always give a lot of satisfaction with the latest generation games. They use components that can, almost always, be replaced with extreme simplicity, thus representing the most forward-looking solution in terms of performance. Once you release a faster and more powerful video card, you can almost always replace it by pulling out a few screws and with little skill so you keep your computer up to date not only from the software point of view but also from the hardware without having to do it again ‘whole investment. They do not have major disadvantages, apart from the space occupied in the room and the tangle of cables that you come up with if you are not careful during assembly phases.
